1930年代，光怪陆离的老上ddd。商会之间依然纷争不断，初来乍到的许文强（黄晓明饰）偶遇上海滩头号商会大亨冯敬尧（李雪健饰）的爱女冯程程（孙俪饰）。倔强美丽的冯程程与旧爱方艳芸（陈数饰）有几分神似，而此时的方艳芸已是上海滩第一交际花。许文强与闸北贫民区长大的丁力（黄海波饰）在无意中救下冯程程，两人结为生死之交。在方艳芸的帮助下，两人得到冯敬尧的赏识，决定同在上海滩闯出名堂。许文强和丁力都对冯程程一见倾心，三人展开了一段错综复杂的爱情故事。然而几经磨难的许文强返家时发现全家惨死，为报血海深仇决定重返上海滩。由内地知名导演高希希执导，黄晓明、孙俪主演的42集电视连续剧的《新上海滩》，改编自香港TVB经典剧集《上海滩》。故事讲述了1930年代上海，那个处于内忧外患、商会纷争不断的大时代背景下，一段上海帮会内的人物情仇和爱情故事。
