99.9: Criminal Lawyer Season 2
Synopsis
In Japan's criminal cases, the probability of being found guilty is as high as 99.9%, and in cases where it is absolutely impossible to overturn the case, there is only a 0.1% chance of tracing the remaining case! Jun Matsumoto will continue to play the role of Daisho Fukayama, the protagonist of this work, and in the negligible 0.1% likelihood, he will be able to convince himself to answer DDD. His partner is still the shrewd and capable lawyer Atsuhiro Sada (Teruyuki Kagawa), and the two will continue to work together to uncover the truth. In addition, the second season will have the addition of former judge Maiko Ozaki (played by Fumino Kimura). Maiko passed the bar exam and became a judge after an internship, but later resigned as a judge due to a case. One day, she accompanied her friend to Madara Law Firm and contradicted Fukayama's opinion, who insisted on pursuing the truth from 0.1%. The case that led to her resignation involved her former boss, an elite judge. What is the inside story of this case? What will be the outcome of the confrontation between Madara and this man?
